The author in 2011 in an underground data center in Stockholm, Sweden. The server under his arm was one of two that ran WikiLeaks’ website during its Cablegate release.

Andy Greenberg is a senior writer for WIRED and former staff writer for Forbes, focusing on technology, information security, and digital civil liberties. His Forbes story on WikiLeaks and the future of information leaks in late 2010 was the first magazine cover story to feature Julian Assange. In 2012 he was selected as a top cybersecurity journalist by the SANS Institute. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife, film-maker Malika Zouhali-Worrall.
